When I was looking for a photo today, I found another that looked so blah - almost dumped it. But then I thought I'd try a couple things.
Changed the original to this monochrome and softened it.
Played with some sliders and a strong vignette
Then I tried something I've never really used - cross process. I kind of like it!

Tried this out the other day, HDR and a falling tide. The tide here at that houur is about 7 knots and it was fun, the tides are blurred but the rest is stable

I really love RR's third, fourth and fifth frames. I'm honored to be compared to his work!
Meanwhile, here's one of my 1948 attempts. The foreground is a section of Hitler's private road up a mountain to his Eagle's Nest chalet, built shortly before the Nazis invaded Poland in September, 1939. Appropriately, my photo also was taken in September, but in 1948, nine years later. These are part of the Bavarian Alps above Berchtesgaden.
