I am thinking of doing one of Ken Rockwell's landscape workshops and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with him. None found in search. It appears to be 'Bare Bones' and small group intended to focus on the task at hand rather than a luxury tour. Comments? Advice?
One key thing about any Yosemite workshop is to make a hotel reservation before you book the class. Yosemite is busy year round, and room availability books months in advance.
That being said, book the Eastern Sierra workshop, as the terrain is more varied, and in my opinion is the Mecca and Al Medina for landscape photographers.
DM me for more local details.

I have never taken a workshop with Ken Rockwell, but my friend's son took a workshop with him and mentioned that the cost was very reasonable just under $500.00. I find Ken Rockwell's interviews to be entertaining and his images over saturated for my taste. Personally I feel there are better workshops for Yosemite. Feel free to look at my Yosemite galley.

Thanks all. There are some remarkable scenes from the Sierras here. I'll not be doing this until the Fall and will post some keepers if I get any. Appreciate the feedback.
