Late Autumn in The Lakes, UK.
Almost into winter some might say, we took a break in the last few days of October and the first few of November. A storm the week before saw to most of the leaves, but there was still colour up there.
A week of mixed skies - typical of the area but we were quite lucky in remaining dry for the most part.
This is the wrong section for critique, but I have no objection to you telling me how it is, and thank you for taking time to look. I hope you enjoy them.

Fine images. Love the Tarn Hows shot.
Beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely landscape, so beautifully photographed!
Beautiful set. They look much better in the download.
Absolutely Fantastic.. I got lost in some of them for awhile.
These photos are wonderful. Makes me want to go there, but since I will never get that far from home I thank you for taking me on this journey to a faraway place. The place names are enchanting- thanks for providing those too. My favorite is the morning view across the lake.
Anytime one has vistas like that, they're in photographer's Heaven. Hopefully, a good tripod and a selection of good glass is part of the picture.

magneto man, how can we not enjoy them? The is a wonderful series but then again, yours is magical countryside. My old boss, Ted Turner (of America's Cup, CNN and TBS fame) used to regularly sail these waters in his trusty 12 meters but I had no idea your southern coast hid such treasures. Great vistas often challenge the unprepared but your shots clearly mark you as a man dedicated to his craft. More to come I hope?
Thank you and Happy New Year.
Wowsa, Dave, what an awesome set. Careful compositions with fantastic use of light and shadow when you had it available, depth (foreground, middle, back), rich textures and colors, and leading lines. You did it all! Above Elterwater is a superstar - for the foreground fellow - among a very strong series of highly enjoyable photos.

Great shots, You can see why it has been made a "World Heritage Site". It's a walker and photographer's paradise.
