I'm in the market for a Canon 80D. I usually go to the Canon Refurbished site, they want $799 plus tax for a refurbished camera. The Ebay site, Deals All Year is selling a new Canon 80D for $719, no tax. I understand it is a "grey" camera. In over 50 years of buying Canon camera products, I have never had any issues with their equipment that required me to use the warranty. My question is, has anyone had any experience with the dealer? Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year to everyone!

Make sure everything is included with that deal. Sometimes, they will charge extra for the battery, lens cap, strap, etc. Yes, it looks like all that is included. If you can trust TrustPilot, it looks like a reliable company. ebay offers protection to buyers, so you should be okay. Like you, I haven't had a problem with a camera in over fifty years of shooting.

They don't offer much of a savings on the Nikon D750 gray market, just $117.

I would be wary. This is a refurbished product. That means it was returned under warranty and fixed. Who do you trust more to have repaired the camera; Canon or the eBay seller? If the price is too good to be true, it just might not be.

According to the ad, it is new, not refurbished. I have purchased refurbished products from Canon only.

Deals All Year is the online Ebay presence for RYTHER CAMERA. Google them and read the reviews carefully, NOT a company you want to trust with your money nor your credit card info.

According to BBB Ryther is out of business. At least the one in NJ. Maybe there are others.

Still in business just changed their name is all. Their reviews got so bad they had no choice. And the lawsuits didn't help either.

According to Canon Price Watch they have made a major turn around with the Web business between 2014 and 2016. They now recommend them. Their Amazon Storefront has a 96% positive rating over the past 12 months.

Thank you for your comment. I don't know where some of these folks get their information. I will give Deals All Year credit for their delivery service. I ordered the camera yesterday and according to UPS I will receive it today, a Saturday. Can't do better than that!

I made one purchase with them. A Tamron 24-70 f2.8 VC (G1 ) lens. They were very easy to work with. I had the lens in a couple of days. This is my only purchase with them. but I would do business with them again. I'm sure you have read the reviews.
