The first is better. Better composition, better pose, more dramatic. The second is straight on, too evenly lit, no composition.

Agreed - also, I think the 1st tells a story while the 2nd does not.

I like #1. I like the pose better, it's more suggestive and you can see more of her arm and leg.

Neither one. It just doesn't seem to invoke 'Tickle'. Both look like they are trying to be something, but not quite making it. Not wanting to be critical without making a positive suggestion, I'd suggest the color version photo, just as a way to distinguish to which I'm referring, the same pose, but the feather held vertically obscuring the division between her cheeks. This becomes a more suggestive photo. Additionally, the straight on lighting obliterates the contours of the human form. Lit from the side with the feather positioned as stated could make a much more visually interesting photograph.
