Have been on vacation this week and it is to cold to do anything except stay inside and watch movies and the fireplace. I love keeping the fireplace going and watching the flames.

Love the fire. I do not drink very much hard liquor and most of what I have drunk was out of a tin cup sitting around a campfire. A few years ago, on a snowy nite I felt like having a drink of booze, so I went in my office, turned off the lights and opened the window. I filled my tin cup with snow and ice and poured Crown Royal into the spaces around the ice and watched a long video on Youtube of a campfire. It was great and your pix brought back many good memories of countless campfires and friends gone by.
Thanks
Fires are so fascinating with the ever changing forms and colors. Great shots!
Several years ago while it was snowing one night, I was sitting drink in hand just watching the fire as the snow fell. As I looked at the reflection of the fire place in the window, it looked like the snow was falling into, and melting of course, in the fire. Amazing what the combination of light refraction and refreshments can do😊

Congratulations. The FIRST picture of a fireplace fire I have ever seen in my 4 years on the forum. I have been using a camera for over60 years. Never even thought of this. But I will now.
Feel warm just looking at your pictures.
Fireplaces are mesmerizing. good shots.
One station in So. Cal. has for several years on Christmas shown a video of a "Yule Log" instead of their regular programming.
