Easiest way to determine the year of mostly any car/truck is to simply do a search on your browser, just enter the year/car and hit the images, it will bring up many examples...hit different years to see the changes...in this case, the grill is the dead giveaway, try it out...you like it

A few I've shot over the last few years, 1949--top notice the subtle changes
1950--second
1951--third
1952--bottom

Actually it's a '50. Look at the details on the grill. The '49, like in your video, has some teeth under the grill bar, and the '50, like the OP's example, has no teeth and a cleaner look

Well, right you are! Now that that's settled anybody interested in photography?

I know the admin loves it, but my god, if we could make everyone read all the posts, there wouldn’t be so many repeat posts.

This is the only forum I have ever seen this.

Does anyone really think that after 11 pages of replies, your ideas has not been posted yet?

That's why I skim over the previous replies when I want to say something in a post. I don't like repeating what someone else already mentioned.
BTW, it's a '49 or '50 Chevy if nobody said that yet.

It's a 1950 Chevy Humpback. My first car was a 50 Fleetline . Chevy had two body designs from 49-52.

I'd say you pretty much have it covered.

Not a 53 or 54. They were almost the same. I had a 54. The photo has to be earlier, 52 or earlier but the 48's from GM were "fastback" so that narrows it down a bit.

I owned a 1950 2dr "fastback" or "teardrop". Also had the shape (style) in the photo. Chevy made both.

Not a '53; '51 or '52. The '53 was very similar to the '54.

I had a 52Chevy, there was little difference from 49-52 Chevs, the grill and parklits had small differences. Taillites also had slight changes.

The only way to know if you are repeating what someone else already said is to read the previous replies. And yes, others have said '49 or '50 Chevy.
