Excellent series Will, beautiful foggy scenes. Such a shame about the house!

Rich, thanks for your visit and comments.
I live in an old house, it is a little over a 100 years old.

I got these images while en route to Snowshoe W.V. Snowshoe is a ski resort that is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from where I live in Va.
Have to go over 3 mountains to get there. The morning looked like it was going to be sunny, but that quickly changed to foggy and cloudy on the way.
I will post another series soon of images I took at the Snowshoe Resort.
Please do the downloads as they look better that way. Enjoy.

Great shots but how was the skiing? From my experience east coast snow is just too unpredictable. I have had luck with Beech in N.C. but it was just luck. I'll take the Rockies any day but I'm not sure if these old legs can still handle it.

Thanks for the comments. As for the skiing, I didn't. I just went along with my 7 year old grand daughter and her daddy.
She skis, he snowboards. I just wanted to take pics and see what Snowshoe looked like.
I used to ski, but am getting a little too old for that now.

I had a friend who skied there and he said it's a bit unusual. Lodge at the top where most resorts have the lodge at the bottom. He said they had good conditions but he came up with a bad case of the flu on the way there. Bummer. One time in Breckenridge we collided and it messed his back up a bit. He had a history of back trouble even though we were in our 20's. The next day I asked if was going to ski. He said Hell yeah he didn't come 1500 miles for nothing.
