A couple of shots from the Florida Trip.

I took my wife to Florida to visit relatives for her birthday (surprise party) and took about 5 rolls of pictures while I was there. Here are 4 of them.

One is of a fisherman on the South Jetty, printed on Ilford MGIV Warmtone at 8x10 and scanned.

One is of a bunch of Pelicans, printed and scanned the same way.

One is of myself, my wife, her sister and her son, printed on Ilford MGIV Pearl finish at 4x6 and scanned.

One is of myself and my nephew printed and scanned the same way.

All taken with my Olympus Trip 35 and Eastman 5222 Double-X, dev'd in Diafine.

PS: It's funny, all of the pictures that I asked other folks to take of us were framed very badly, cutting off our feet and miles of room over our heads. The Oly Trip is a very easy camera to frame, it only has one set of frame lines in a clear viewfinder, super simple. I'm not sure people know how to frame pictures these days.

Thanks very much!
I agree, too bad the scans just don’t do the prints justice.

These are great images, Bob! As has been noted, the tonal range of film is far superior to that of digital. Whenever I see your name, I’m happy because I know I’m about from to see fine photos from the ‘old school’ analog era. Thanks so much for sharing them. Love the ‘pelican board meeting’.

I am glad that there are still photographers shooting film. I still have 2 Nikon film cameras ready and loaded. I like your shirt by the way.
