Hi everyone, new to this sight. I joined because I enjoy really good photography, and would like to be good myself oneday. I feel I have an artistic eye, but really need to learn to catch the shot the way I see it. I'm starting to learn to set my camera for different light situations, but still have a long way to go. I hope to be able to share photos of interest with you all, and am open to tips, and comments. Thanks, and have a superb day!

Welcome Cheliman

Wow! Your photo shows silver balloons upside down. That's different and an interesting perspective.

Thanks for commenting. Actually, these are water droplets on a spider's web, with the morning sun providing the light. Really do look like two balloons now that you mention it!

Seems like it's a bit out of focus, and that a greater depth of field would have helped bring the spider web out.

But...it IS an interesting photo with good composition.

Hi Cheliman, welcome to the hog. Yes, your water droplets on the web are EXCELLENT. You have a good eye. keep it up. I would have loved to see the droplet in the background a little more out of focus, so that the foreground one would stand out even more. but excellent shot anyway.
