Just got the fourth edition of Bryan Peterson's understanding exposure. Has new pictures, subjects, includes flash and shooting star trails plus using a flashlight, this is a must read for those who want to learn the foundation such as myself and those who might want a refresher

Thanks, but once is enough! I read his first edition a long time ago and admit it is a very good read and many should read it, but I certainly don't have the urge of reading it again!

What's the pub date of the 4th Edition? I found a copy with a pub date in 2016 but it doesn't say what edition that is in the brief info.

Never Mind - I found it. It is the 4th Edition

He has made some significant changes but questionable to buy if you have an older version. I did read the new one at Barnes&Noble, even better, but not enough to purchase.

If you don't have it, it is a fantastic starter read and reference. If one needs to learn about the exposure triangle, this will do the trick. By tye time you finish this book, you will feel comfortable with total manual or either shutter/aperture priority.

Try your local Library - mine in little Citrus County, FL has a copy for loan.

My local library carries it as well. Public libraries seem to have become a forgotten resource!
