Is your smart phone spying on you?

When I first got my iMac, I turned off the microphone and covered the video lens with a piece of black tape (better paranoid than sorry). Looks like I should do the same with my phone?

My first reaction, without reading the article, is, "I'm shocked!" I guess the best defense against being spied on is to have nothing worth seeing. Between Google and Facebook, I figure electronic privacy is a thing of the past anyway. Sad that the only real protection is to constantly monitor accounts and info just in case.

Just leave your phone out of your bedroom. Hmm... I wonder what people do that do not have a landline?

There are always though who will say, "you're paranoid." But that is not the case. In answer to your question, "Of course they are."
