Mixed emotion in the clouds

From the passenger seat inside a pick up truck at dusk I was just so drawn to this massive cloud that I had to grab my iPhone to capture it right through the windshield. Regardless of the windshield I am still so taken by this cloud.This photo is in the sky’s near Sun City West in Arizona.

I like your sunset clouds. Yes Arizona’s sunsets are some of the best in the world, I lived there in the last half of the 70’s and saw some spectacular sunsets it was a time when an volcano erupted in the South Pacific the dust particles made for some of the most beautiful pictures of which are on slide film if I knew where they were I would scan them and post them. Lol Oh well maybe some day!

It’s a good chance the migrating smoke from the California fires which is the state right next-door could be contributing to the interesting sunsets here.

I don't think cloud formations like this are all that common. Sunsets yes, but not these formations. Great Capture.

Yes, the telephones can make pictures, too, but for the unexpected events like that, I carry a credit card size 16 megapixel camera in my shirt pocket, so I can make a print 16x20 inches .
