Good capture. We do get hummingbirds here on Long Island but few and far between. Hard to time it right and be able to get the kind of shot you got . I`ll keep trying but have little hope of getting anything descent...by the time I see one and run for the camera they are usually gone ...I will not give up !

Welcome. I am inland in SE Washington County. I lived in Brookings for a year, I have coastal experience. It has been a while since I have visited the coast (Oct. 2011). I stayed in Rockaway Beach.
