Across the Street - Handheld 3 vertical shot pano, using Photoshop Photo Merge.

Shot three vertical shots (about 20% overlap) on a Nikon D7000, handheld with a Sigma EX Aspherical 15-30mm Zoom D lens. Equivalent focal length was 28mm, f5, 1/200 sec, iso-100. Pano was created with the Photoshop Photo Merge under the File/Automate tab. When I took the shots I tried to line them up along the top rail of my fence.

Is a good shot - colors look natural.

Technically this is a good example of hand held stitched pano.

My taste in a shot like this would be to have a little more foreground and "top". Maybe a second row then crop as needed. But my opinion is far from the only way to do things. . .

Thanks. I haven't had much luck with a second row for panos. Pointing the camera upward with a 15mm lens seems to create odd distortions in tree limbs, etc. Ideal would have been if I had another 30ft. of space to move backward, but I was sitting on my porch.

If you stitched with PS it is likely to produce wonky results. Using the newer better merge to panorama in ACR or Lightroom may be better, and PT/GUI also seems to resolve images taken with wider lenses.
