Thank you. if you had taken my side I would have had to do some serious introspection.

I beg to differ, he gives assholes a good name, I could much better tolerate an educated asshole than a moronic SS.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?"
I used to think I was just a regular person, but I was born white which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a r****t.
I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a f*****t.
I am heterosexual, which now makes me a homophobe.
I am mostly non-union, which makes me a t*****r to the working class and an ally of big business.
I was christened by my parents (who were married, in a church and remained married until they died), which now labels me as an infidel.
I am older than 65 and retired, which makes me useless.
I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary.
I am proud of my heritage which makes me a xenophobe.
I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.
I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.
I (and most of the folks I know), acquired a fair education without student loan debts and little or no debt at graduation, which makes me some kind of an odd underachiever.
I believe in the defence and protection of the homeland for and by all citizens and I honour those who served in the Armed Forces, which now makes me a right wing-militant.
Please help me come to terms with the new me… because I'm just not sure who the hell I am anymore!
I would like to thank all my friends for sticking with me through these seemingly abrupt, new found changes in my life and my thinking!
I just can't imagine or understand what's happened to me so quickly!

Stop listening to faux news and you will feel good about yourself again! The right wing news makes people paranoid ! Good luck.
Those are all labels that the left uses to describe anyone who disagrees with their ideology. Nothing to do with Fox news.

And they like to keep you thinkin’ that, even if it isn’t true.
I googled instances of Fauxnews reporting on errant congressmen, and their approach was to list all the bad ones a Democrats, even those elected as Republicans.
Stay gullible.
It’s good for Republicanism.
Like Democrats & the MSM are all so infallible....

I didn’t say ‘infallible,’ but a few demonstrated lies by someone like Fauxnews and I never watch again.
Fool me once.....

Being White does not make you a r****t; thinking your race is superior or the other race is inferior, does.
Being a fiscal and moral conservative does not make one a F*****t.
Being heterosexual does not make you a homophobe; hatred does that.
Being non-union makes you a t*****r only to yourself; why choose a weaker position when you could live a stronger one?
Being christened as a Christian does not make you an infidel, except to members of other religions.
Being over 65 and retired does not make you useless; you have to choose to be useless.
Thinking and Reasoning and being skeptical of what you read doesn’t make you reactionary, it makes you discerning, a careful judge and responsible.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage; it’s being disparaging other heritages that lessens you.
Valuing safety for yourself and your family, and respecting the military and the police does not make you right wing or extremist.
Believing in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits is simply fundamental justice and demeans no one unless you imagine it so, and —wh**ever you believe—has nothing to do with Socialism.
And, finally, each and every one of these ideals is much older than seven or eight years; perhaps you haven’t been paying attention.
And you may go to whichever toilet make you comfortable, and your attitude might be a little more gracious if you went there a little more often.

Every one of those sentences, up to the words "makes me," describes me exactly. The endings suggest that you spend too much time watching Fox "News."
"I (and most of the folks I know), acquired a fair education without student loan debts and little or no debt at graduation" The term "student loan" did not exist in 1963 but I did have to borrow money from NFCU to buy my uniforms (including that goddamn sword that I just had to have and used four times in 20 years). Went through grad school on the GI bill. In those days, public education was everybody's responsibility and so the government (us) financed it. Now the grand-kids are up to their ear-balls in debt.
When I dodged the draft by joining the Navy, I didn't go into "the military, or the armed forces," I went into THE SERVICE! I served my countrymen, with all that means (Do NOT thank me, I rather enjoyed it). And now, some of them h**e me so much because of what they've been told I believe, they are willing to burn MY country down with them in it. Go figger!

When I entered a Big Ten school in the summer of 1959, full time tuition was a flat $75 per semester. That fall tuition went up to $100–not per course hour, but full time tuition for a full load.
Do you have any idea what tuition is now? Without student loans, colleges and universities would cease to exist.
The salaries fo the football coaches alone would bankrupt them.
