Bored with the dreary weather today, I decided to revisit the PP on some autumn images from a trip to the San Juan Mountains in 2013. These were originally processed in LR3--and now in LR6. The older D5100 which I carried on this trip still had an AA filter and I can see the difference in the more recent pictures I've taken with the D5300, which doesn't have the AA filter. However, the advanced features in LR6 compensated well for the softer images of the older camera.
These excerpts from the trip included the area around Marble, CO, as well as Owl Creek Pass via Cimarron Road.
Those first two are keepers, worthy of calendar material.
Nice set, love the reflections.

Thanks so much for the good words, vonzip! Actually, I did use the first one on a calendar that year. (BTW, I, am retired from the residential construction field, too.)

Nice to see you, Jean! We got lucky on the first location because by mid-afternoon water tends to be rougher. The second image was early morning and frosty calm. I loved being at both of those places--good for the soul!
