Got a new (to me) lens for my Pentax KS2 and went to a state park to play. It is a DA 20-40 f2.8 Limited. Looks pretty good to me. What do you think? Subject matter is not as beautiful as what I see on this site, but I like. Hand held, straight out of the camera.

These pictures are small in size but they look good to me. Get a file you like and enlarge it to the usual size you make. See if you find good details specially in the middle of the zoom range that pleases your eyes. Zoom lenses tend to be softer at their larger focal length, nothing that should take away your sleep. A similar thing could happen wide open but that is considered normal behaviour with zoom lenses.
I have never used a lens that did not do its part when I did mine.

I normally don't print anything larger than 8 x 10. These should be good for that. Thanks for commenting. Merry Christmas.
