Great shot. I love seeing raptors tearing through a city setting. Culling pigeons makes for cleaner cities. Gary

Hello TrishV

Thanks for that. There is little photographic merit in the shot but a great encounter in a suburban location. I was able to stay in the car and could have got a few shots but another driver stopped, got out and approached the bird which flew off taking it's meal with it. Thank you very much for looking and for commenting, much appreciated.

Hello Jim

I had my wife in the vehicle. She thought the whole thing was disgusting and couldn't understand why I would want to take pictures! Thank you very much for looking and for commenting, always appreciated.

Mama never taught this one any table manners it appears. I find all raptors to be fascinating and most definitely photo-worthy. Glad you got a shot or two before someone intruded.

Hellos Linda, really pleased that you liked this. I love the ways it has the chest opened up and pinned back with it's claws just like a surgeon would do. Thank you for looking and for commenting, always appreciated.

That is a nice shot David. I'm sure that will be the female, as the Males are about Blackbird size.

Hello Doddy

I can never tell unless they are together, but I suspect this is a female. Thank you very much for looking and for commenting, really appreciated.
