I am still working on the noise problem. I have had great suggestions from club members and believe I am doing better. Those gyms can be a bear for being dark.
Comments welcome.
Have a great holiday season.

Jules - nice as always. I am shooting at the middle school level, and even darker. Seem to need about 1/640 min to freeze action, and even with F2.8-3.2, ISO pushing uncomfortable high. What are you shooting (sorry - still new enough on photography so I can’t yet download and see the settings). Thanks

Your timing is really good. When you're watching the game, the gyms look really bright. Start shooting, and they're dungeons!

Hi David: Nikon D500 using 70-200 2.8 vr - 24-70 2.8 not vr Iso 2500-3200. This particular gym has nice lighting much better than most gyms. These shots were 1/500 at 2.8.
Thanks for looking.
Jules

Hey Jules, how are you doing. These look great as always, I think you are getting better all the time with the basketball photos. I am getting ready to upload a basketball game I shot Friday, will see if MaxPreps accepts it. I also went to a Wrestling tournament Saturday first time ever, being there or shooting the event. Photos looked real good in camera but when I loaded up on Lightroom they were pretty grainy and not sure but looked a little out of focus. Shoot most at 1/500 f/2.8 @ 1600 or 2000 ISO. Doing post work right now will see what happens I hope good enough for MaxPreps as I need two more galleries to get credentials. Well I have to go mama says we have too get ready to go shopping OH BOY my favorite thing to do this time of year. Too many whackos out there. Talk later keep up the good work. Thanks

Tom
