It's a little chilly

I just returned from a business trip to Tampa, FL (where the locals say it is cold). I thought maybe I'd head out later today and do some shooting of the newly created snowscapes around the ole homestead. I am rethinking that :)

Might be a good day for indoor photography :)

Ha! Pretty funny...and true! As New Englanders, it's our birthright to complain about winter weather but few of us would live anywhere else and woe to anyone who tries to denigrate our lovely corner of the U. S.! Love the idea of indoor photography, too.

I'd say that's a little chilly but that was taken at 9:48 AM, it must have warmed up to at least 3 above by 2 PM.

My mom & dad moved to Clearwater Fl. when my dad retired. I would go down to see them every December. They would be wearing coats. Now at 87 I know why.

Lol...I was in Tampa earlier this week, and while i was wearing shorts in the evening after work (it was in the high 50's), there were a number of people wearing down coats and complaining of being cold! It's all in what you are used to. Of course, coming back to the lovely VT winter weather, it seemed much colder after a week in Florida. :(

It's warmed up since you were here, 80 today.

Well, at least there was no wind!

Since moving up north, I have come to appreciate the northern climate. We can always layer to the point of being comfortable, but when I lived in Charleston and the temperature was 95 with the humidity in the 70's, you simply could do nothing to cool down other than go swimming or get inside an air-conditioned building or home. Even getting naked wouldn't help!
