Not bad for a summer place. Good shot. Where is it?
Outstanding image. Great job.
thanx for the comments, y'all.
this was taken in September in Ireland. can't remember which county, but the name of the place is Kylemore Abby.
it was Kylemore Castle until about 1900 when it had a bad fire. the castle was originally built by a rich guy(no relation to me) who married a younger woman who asked him to build her a castle. (aren't diamonds good enough?) sooooo ..... he built the castle and a "chapel" on the 8,000 acre property he bought, and gave to her for a wedding present. (my wife only got a new car).
it was purchased by an order of nuns after the fire to use as a convent and school and became an Abby. they did a lot of restoration and now the joint is beautiful.
it is still run as a school and tourist attraction.. huge, beautiful gardens and grounds to explore, also.
I have a couple more shots of the place I'll post soon.

Thanks, MrBill. I does look incredible and your composition is spot-on, IMHO. Just wondering, do you (or anyone else) know what DrNikon means by "a clean photo?" Haven't heard that one before, but I think it's a good thing.

well, I did use the restroom and washed my hands before taking these shots, but somehow I don't think that that's what he meant.
not familiar with the term, but I like it in this instance.
thank you all for the kind comments. much appreciated.
