Darn spell check, it can be a pain. I like the statue. It is nice to see something playful instead of the usual statues commemorating some high ranking person or a war. Did you irritate the guy in the center? It looks like he is mooning you but keeping his britches on. Where was it taken, I don't believe there are many palm trees in Belgium are there? Looks good to my eye.

You are quite right, there are not as many palm trees in Belgium as there are in the part of Spain that faces the African coast.
The shot was taken in Torremolinos and I think this is a super statue, it is set just facing the beach. Btw, did you know there are palm trees growing in Scotland, just on the point where the end of the gulf stream hits the Scottish coast, there is a very localised mini Mediterranean climate. I stood about ten minutes and waited for that guy to move himself, in the end I thought he was a fixture and just took the shot anyway. My Spanish is non existent enough for me to do slightly sarky aggressive so I just gave up on it. Thanks for the comment.
