A new twist...
OK... so, I screwed-up (again?). I was taking some photos at a local RC aircraft event a while back and I tried something new. Unfortunately, I did not get the result I expected. But, I did get some interesting composites! But, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Just recently, I ran across these and thought I'd share them with you.
All of these are cropped from much larger images. And, being superimposed images, that resulted in some softness in the images & colors. Overall, it was an interesting, though unintended result.
1. First evidence of a total screw-up
2. There are a couple of planes in this image.
3. Then, it got to be fun!
4. I like this one...
5. Another pretty good one.
6. Fortunately, I had the camera on this plane when the wing separated from the aircraft. Needless to say, the plane crashed rather spectacularly. The wing, though, drifted in the wind for a long time. I doubt they ever found it.
I counted five planes in #2. Interesting photos though.
Wrong approach ... when someone asks you how you got those COOL photos... "skill and practice" is the answer.
Could you please post a downloadable of the wing separation shot?

Here you go... Note that this is a composite photo, so the separated wing is shown twice.
