the governor of MI. has decided to wait a year for an e******n, instead of appointing a replacement for rep Conyers who just resigned. he says it's to save money, BUT it leaves MI. with one less v**e in congress.

it's not about the numbers in congress, it's about the thousands of citizens without a v**e in congress. by the way we have a republican governor so he would probably appoint a republican replacement. that's not seven the point, it's about us having our voice.

Well you should be happy then that he's not appointing anyone especially a Republican. And you should be happy that he's going to let the citizens elect who they want as a congressman or woman.

I've survived near 80 yrs either republican or democratic presidents, senators, or representitives.
the fact that I had someone v****g on my behalf at least lets me maintain the elusion that I actually have some say in the process.
