Well it may not be the Grand Canyon but it's still pretty impressive to me. Located near Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle it's one of the prides of Texas. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

Can you give us details on how you shoot this and PP involved?

Visited many years ago, and watched the summer play - loosely based on the history of Texas. I was most impressed watching a cowboy ride up what appeared to be a very sheer cliff behind the stage, as the sun was going down. Didn't have a camera then; it would have been a great pic as the rider galloped across the top of the canyon, Texas flag unfurled, with the setting sun skies in the background.

I shoot with a Sony A77 with the translucent prism. This allows me to pan handheld at the right speed to space each photo for stitching. After that the magic is in the camera. One of the reasons I love Sony. It stitches the photos together in camera. While I have PS I seldom use it. I do use the Windows 10 photo processing program. I crop as needed, let the program enhance the photo on its own. I usually adjust the lighting, sharpness, and clarity. I did not mess with the color on any of these, any intensity in color occurred in the auto enhancement. Hope that answers your question.

I've never made it to the show, as a matter of fact this was only my second trip there. First time around had wife, kids, and grand kids which wasn't conducive to getting a lot of photos. Looking forward to the next trip.
