Charlo, Montana

Dave.Largent Loc: Puyallup, Washington

I attended school in Charlo and was back for a visit in November of 2016 and took this pano one evening. It was late enough in the year that the mountain tops were covered in new snow. Charlo is between Missoula, Montana and Flathead Lake the backdrop is the Mission Range.
It is 4 frames merged together in Lightroom CC.
D810 and 70-200mm lens. When I shoot panoramics I almost always use a tripod. This series was shot at ISO 800 f/8 @ 3 seconds, zoomed to 82mm. I shoot raw files and merge them then process the panoramic in lightroom and finish in photoshop.

May I use your panorama to play with? (Composite)

I will not re-post it here or anywhere else but if I do something with it I'll send it to you in a PM.

Great shot! but I like the B&W better. I find the blue overwhelming in the color shot.
