Cheers Bob, I doubt if there is a better coastline in the world than the West and North Coast of Scotland, its stunning. As for the name?, well thats Gaelic for you, but Im lucky as my Mrs is a Glaswegian so I get the lowdown on the lingo LOL,

Thanks Bill, Im sure you would love it, we had 3 trips up there this year spending a total of 6 weeks and we will be back again in 2018, but if you do go I would recommend May or September so as to avoid the midges???????

Thanks a lot for you feedback S1 ,--Its easy, just hop on a plane to Glasgow, hire a motorhome and drive the North Coast 500, and you can wake up to this kind of view every morning you here? The only problem is you might, like us, want more? LOL.

Brilliant, from the granular sand texture in the foreground right through to the horizon with (dare I saw it) warm but overcast early morning.
It's no wonder these beeches crop up in 'Worlds top 10 beeches' polls occasionally, usually on the years sunny day!
