Have you, yet - gathered up all your 35mm slides and digitized them, yet? ... If so, what process did you use?

Re-shoot them, scan them, or did you use one of these "feeders" ???
I found a Plustek 7600Ai film/slide scanner on eBay for $125. It's been a painstaking, slow process, but the scanner did an outstanding job. It took months, but I am finally done and I am very happy with the results.

I can scan slides in my scanner....it will scan 4 slides at a time to any size I choose...I went through all that several years ago, very time consuming but well worth it...sold my projector and screen and can now view them on TV...also saves heaps of storage room...

Is that one of those feeders, or is it a flat-bed, B?

It's a box about 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 10, with slots on the side, where you slide the tray in. The trays hold a strip of up to 6 35mm negatives or 4 slides. You need to shift the tray over manually after each scan.

So, that's a feeder, of sorts, B ... thanks for your input ...

Did you use a copy stand, Richard ... or did you just put the camera on a tripod, and then drop the slides into a holder thing on the front of the lens?
No, this is a task I have yet to complete.
Still wading through digitising 8,000 negatives.
Not even up to the first thousand yet.

Just used a tool used to hold models while painting them, except I used it to hold the slide, and photographed the slides against a white background that was lit by sunlight.

I purchased three different scanners over time, an Epson, a Plustek, and a refurbished Nikon. The Nikon turned out to be the best, and over the past eight years I've methodically scanned most of my slides and few negatives.
I purchased a slide scanner years ago, scanned them all with a 2x enlargement factor.
Now I have to find my negatives and scan them, as well as old photos - Winter project...
