If the drought keeps going in this area I doubt there will be any fish left before long!!!

Good capture.

What did you use to stitch? There is a seam running down the middle of the image in the water. Did you use a polarizing filter?
On my display I see a magenta cast. Correctable minor flaws in an otherwise excellent image. Good choice on focal length and everything else.

Thanks for the loan of your eyes! I totally missed that miss match. The stitch was done in ICE. To see how PS does I'll run it again. Looking at the line in the water the magenta seems to be more in one frame than the other. ???
I pulled up the .nef files and reset them to OOC before starting this, processed them after stitching. BTW no polarizer, since I started doing multiple images I don't even have one in the bag anymore

ICE would do that all the time. I find Lightroom's Pano tool to be excellent.

and thru the beach just above the water - a slight mis-match. And, the water doesn't blend

Before calling it a day, last night I did a new stitch using ACR. That looks like it got all the ducks in a row, so to speak. Which tells me we need more than one program in our arsenal. The other day, elsewhere in this forum, I showed a side-by-side 100% crop comparison where ICE got it done and ACR blew it. Fun times!

This is pretty much the same as the earlier photo without the mismatch between frames. Interesting difference is there is now a bird silhouetted against the clouds that I didn't see before, must have been on one frame and not the other. I also attempted to get the color balanced better.

I too see a (mismatch) line running vertically through the water - Magenta / Cyan split. The mountains and sky seem fine. Otherwise a really nice image(s).
