I bought this lens to photograph indoor basketball. Since moving I no longer do that, only baseball for which I use a longer lens. This lens is in excellent condition. No visable wear and includes the original box, case, caps and tripod collar. It was originally purchased by me from B&H. If interested please message me. Asking price is $1100 including shipping. I will take PayPal payment. Also can be picked up if you are local (South Florida). The lens has been kept in a humidified cabinet.
FYI: Canon is listing the same lens, (refurbished) which comes with a 1 yr. warranty, for $1079.

Mark... the refurbed price you quote is for the lens WITHOUT image stabilization. This gentleman's lens has stabilization.

Thank you. I stand corrected. I had the lens with IS and sold it for $1050 a few year ago. I then purchased II version and sill have it.

I sold mine about a year ago too and got the Mark II. But I had the old one sold for $1200 but offered it to a friend for $1000 and he took it. I don't regret selling it to a friend but I know that I could have gotten $1200 for it so the asking price of $1100 is in line especially if it's in good shape as it appears to be.
Can't disagree with any of your comments.
