I took this a few days ago near sunset while shooting cranes and geese in the Cosumnes River Preserve just south of Sacramento. This panorama is composed of three shots stitched together in Lightroom. I've had a lot of success stitching shots together in LR. I rarely see uneven lines using it as long as I give the shots plenty of overlap. I think that's probably the key to good panoramas; lots of overlap.

I think it would look better cropped from the bottom up to the first landscape line, for want of a better way to describe it.

On the other hand, I like the river in the foreground. I spend a fair bit of discretionary time in the delta, so this is a familiar sight. I like it.

Thanks for the comments htbrown. As for BboH I think I agree with you. The crop stubble in the foreground doesn't seem to add much now that I look back on it a few weeks later. I still like the color of the sky. I need to get back out there again before the cranes leave for the winter.

I like the image, including the stubble. Well done!
One caveat, I would trim a bit off the top (or use a clone tool ) to remove the bright wedge in the top right.

Thanks, I hadn't really noticed the bright wedge. That was the sun hiding behind the mix of smoke and clouds.
