I have been using my iPhone mostly for photos since I got back from a trip to North Carolina in August. Yesterday I tried to download some files to my computer as I normally do and got the following message. I haven't tried Lightroom yet as I don't use Lightroom when all I want to see is if the focus point is where I aimed. If it is then I go to Lightroom and load the files. Has anyone else got this message?

No problems like that with Android and Windows 7.

No problem with Lightroom either. I just tried it and it worked. I just don't have the focus point tool in Lightroom.

I also have no problem with Affinity either. It just seems to be the Nikon programs.

never seen this message. I'm a Nikon /Mac user. I always remove my memory card, insert into a card reader to download to my computer. With my cellphone Samsung I send pix via my email on the phone to my other email address and then download, but those are only 9mb files, because dismantling my cellphone to take out the memory card is a hassle.

Prior to the download of OS 10.13.1 I hadn't either.

If using Win 10, fire up Windows Photos and import to your computer from the phone. Once on the computer, you can move them/import them as you wish. I ran into this last month. It's due to the new file format (HEIC) adopted by Apple.

I guess I was not fully awake when I wrote this. I was downloading from my D610 card and got that message. It seems that OS 10.13.1 and Nikon's editing program no longer play well together.

Thanks. That make a lot more sense. Hope you find a solution soon.

I always found that Nikon is slow to update their software. It truly was my impetus to purchase Lightroom.

Odd. Did you try Finder?
