My brother built one on a platform that he could put in his pickup truck and take to places with low light pollution.

Very nice, I had while surfing the astro forums of a person who couldn't build local due to light conditions. He obtained a piece of property a good ways from him and built a remote observertory unique and he could stay warm while onsite of was cooler..
