Possible Focus Problem Question

Is it possible, by using bounce flash off of ceiling, for the camera to loose some auto focus? I have had to use high pass and Overlay or auto focus in Photoshop to restore detail.

Not directly, but many cameras have difficulty focusing in low light. You may need to give your camera more time to establish focus or use your focus confirmation beep feature to help you make sure your scene is in focus before shooting.
