His name is Lester. But he thinks it's NO because we have to say it so much. We are coming along well with training as we now do almost everything he wants us to do whenever he wants us to do it. He's seven months old and keeping us active. Burt

Lester is absolutely purrr-fect and has you trained well and what a lucky cat he is to have found his fur-ever home!!! I've had 7 fur-balls at one time and now sadly down to 3 and a dog... they always bring laughter to each day!! fyi! Good luck with your Christmas tree if you put one up!! lol...

Cute kitten. I have two blacks who probably think their name is "Get Down!" Enjoy your youngster (and you're wise not to put a tree up this year.) We HAVE to put ours up as family is coming for Christmas. But we're prepared; we have a ring screwed into the ceiling that we tie the tree to. Doesn't stop the climbing but it does keep the tree from falling over.

Dragon lady, thinking of a ring in our ceiling too, but to hang him from. Just kidding! Our last cat was a feral cat that adopted us. After 17 years we had to have her put away two years ago. This guy is so loving (and mischievous) we cannot believe it. Thanks for you reply. Burt

Badapple, If it would make you feel better about the ring, during the rest of the year it can serve as a place to hook a flower pot or light. Might make a cozy reading space that becomes the Tree space at Christmas.

Cute kitty. I have a pure white cat that I got a year ago and she is about 5 years old. Her original owner died and my girlfriend rescued her and brought her to me. She is doing a good job of training me, and I love every minute of it.
