The more it is examined, the more medical marijuana is being found to be an almost cure all. The other widespread disease that it helps it diabetes. I know someone who started medical marijuana a few months ago and their insulin intake has reduced to less than half the amount they were taking before and their neuropathy is showing signs of receding too. Eventually, the government will have to give up it's 80+ years of discriminating against this miracle cur-all. I wouldn't be surprised if they knew already back then.

Marijuana should have been legalized years ago.
All political parties should understand.

Obviously the drugs companies want some of the millions made by those states that have legalised it. The bigger issue seems to be the problems around Recreational use. Illegal growing, exploitation (Non Governmental) and social problems allegedly derived from usage. There is very little research on medical use of alcohol.....and as it is mass produced at low cost/profit it also holds major social problems.
It seems people cannot take a little of a good thing. Do we really need another 'alcohol'?

It is nothing like alcohol. Alcohol 100 times worse.
The only acts of violence and bad behavior whatever that is is the attacking of bags of potato chips
Cannabis is phenomenal for some many things. It relieves severe and chronic pain. It can stop seizures. It can reduce the side effects of cancer treatment and, in some cases, shrink tumors or prevent their growth. It reduces the symptoms of several autoimmune diseases, including Crohn’s, IBS/IBD, MS, ALS, HIV/AIDS, Rheumatoid/Psoriatic Arthritis and Lupus. It can reduce the diabetic neuropathy, anxiety, depression, and PTSS.
Nixon had it made Schedule I in the Controlled Substances Act so he would have leverage against the Vietnam War protestors, since the First Amendment gave them the right to protest. By smoking weed, they were then criminals. There is a long history of racism, greed, and power that have been used to squash any study or use of cannabis.

Marijuana does not incite violence
Alcohol incites violence.
Marijuana has been very helpful with dealing of the side effects of chemo therapy. Not only the physical, but emotionally as well. Amazing to me in this day that marijuana is illegal and people are in jail because of it. It's legal here, yet still a stigma attached to it for some people, who cares what I take into my body if I'm not bothering anyone else?
The problem with so-called “medical marijuana” is most proponents want the cannabis species containing THC (tetrahydrocannabinol: the psyoactive chemical that causes the “high”) legalized but are not pushing for the species containing CBD (cannabidiol), which does not cause a “high” but does have an amazing number of medically therapeutic properties. However, the psychoactive species may reduce opioid (heroin) use in those with opioid use disorders.
Thank God that there is one medication that cures everything. We can quit wasting all that research money on other drugs.

Yup. Unlike the drugs they manufacture. That can cause more health problems than it designed to cure. Or even death. Yup that the stuff I wanna take.
