Ok, you are going into a company meeting and you need support from your
department heads to move forward on on of your cornerstone projects.
Do you:
A) bring snacks and refreshments for everyone to enjoy at the meeting
B) provide up to date materials to hand out to everyone attending
C) Trash talk committee members far enough in advance so they all can read about it prior to the meeting ...

Depends on the department heads. If they’re worthless, I’d say “C”. You can’t get lower support than zero...so it might just get A) their attention, or, better yet B) the attention of the peanut gallery.
