I got out of work last night and saw the sunset colors and went to take a few shots. As I returned to my car, I stopped at the street and took a few shots of our modest main street in the nice blue hour. As I did, this scene unfolded.. rather Norman Rockwell-ish, to me, with the boy on the scooter. The problem with the photo, as I see it, is there is no good focus spot...the boy would have been ideal.. but that isn't what I did.

If you look at the rule of thirds, this is almost perfect with the scooter-boy. There are more things you could have done, but if you want "art", you should look at sites that teach art and start to view scenes like paintings. I am going to take classes in "dominant lines of art" after the first of the year to improve my photos.
