I've been fooling around with Black & white conversions. I love B&W images. This is the first one I've posted. Please critique. I can take it!
Very nice, especially the tonality. I think I'd dodge a bit on the figure in the lower center of the image to bring that figure out a bit.

Robert indeed a compelling architectural rendering of Fort Worth's Angels of Bass Performance Hall...
Those amazing 42 foot tall trumping cherubs are indeed it's aesthetic signature...
As for the architectural aspects? You did remarkable feat of holding verticals true... Certainly that EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM would not provide that degree of perfection unaided... Your efforts here are superb in that respect...
That said I believe the "hero" of this structure are the trumping angels... maybe a little more thought of bringing them to the fore might be germane... again just a thought...
As for the B&W treatment? The 25A Red Filter Factor 8X [3-stop] effect in the blue sky brings back many wonderful days shooting B&W film... I feel sorry for all of those who've never experience the silver image appearing in the developer... what magical moments they were... enough said.
Thank you for sharing Robert...
I wish you well on your journey.
Thank you so much for your comments. Much appreciated.

It’s a very good image. Bob's suggestion will make it even stronger.
Nicely done, and your choice for B&W is really good. The angels are very nice. I like that they're mirror images of each other. You've handled the contrast very well, I think. I'm concerned about the tall building behind that has caught the light. It dominates the scene and overpowers the beautiful building in the foreground. I wonder if it would have been possible to take a few steps to the right and shoot more straight on the first building and avoid the tall building. I realize the light might have been totally wrong for that.
Your suggestion is well taken. Quite honestly, I can't say if the light was right or not. I can say that I will be more cognizant of this type of situation in the future. Thank you very much for your input!
