Just because you have a camera

Why do some here think just because they have a camera they are better than anyone else? Anyone can take photos! No matter if you are a PHD or not!
I have been taking photos for over a decade, (I'm in the photography business), & there are those here that put me to shame with their wonderful and creatively beautiful photography. I am no better than anyone, Just because I have been taking photos for a long time, (& I still have memories of just learning). I love photography and love encouraging others to perfect their skills. Conversely I am here to learn as well. Amazing what I have learned from beginners, just by their questions.
So my fellow long time photographers & short time photographers, Please lets be civil to each other. Lets now begin to stop encouraging those here that think they are better than you, by simply avoiding them, and not satisfying their ego needs..... Let us as a group start avoiding them, so they will go away.....

Asking questions is a major part of learning and teaching, even when they are speculative and turn out to be totally wrong.
One of the very best ways to learn a subject is to have to teach it. Every single year I was in the classroom I learned things from my students' questions and my research to answer ones I didn't know off the top of my head.
