I ordered a D 850 from B&H on 10/15. Has anyone received one that was ordered in Sep. or Oct?

Ordered on Sep 1st, delivered on Oct 30th. No need for the brown truck with a most excellent retail store 8 miles away!

According to B&H, the key q is whether you are NPP or not. NPP (Nikon Professional Photographers) get first priority. If a shipment comes in and an NPP ordered yesterday and you ordered 3 months ago, guess who gets the camera? For this reason, B&H can give no estimate of delivery date to the rest of us...

In Milwaukee there have been several available on Craigs List, purchased from B&H. Only caveat is they are advertised at 4300.00

It’s not NPP, it’s NPS which stands for Nikon Professional Service. I got my D850 and battery grip in a week once I placed my order.

Hint for future: Next time a special camera is anticipated to be in demand, don't order from a large Camera dealer, order from a small store. I got my D850 on Sept 19th and I am not an NPS person.
