So far I am impressed with this lens on my D750. Dog is shot at 1/500 f/5.6 ISO 400. Downy WP in deep shade in an oak 1/640 f/600 mm ISO 2500. Airplane ? about a 1/4 mile out. Dog is handheld at 150mm no PP. Downy and plane on Gimble no PP.

I have the same lens and used it on D750 & D810. I have noticed an improvement on the D810 but not sure if it isn't me doing a better job holding it, I spin the handle to the top of the lens. I have increased the shutter speed and keeping it about 1/1000 sec. More good sharp, and in focus pictures when keeping above this. Shot some last week between 2500 and 3200 with IOS 800 and f/6.3. 9 out of 10 shots were right on. Link to Picture http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-497763-1.html
