I believe you have ignorantly insulted millions of people. I hope you were referring to the old TV show: The Beverly Hillbillies.

There's a few hillbillys post in the Attic, to call them ignorant is complimenting them, stupid just about fits.

Can you blow up the image of the grill. There is a marking at the top that might be a tip off.

There is also some letters on the windshield and top edge of right side door. On the windshield I can make out Motor Car but the first, and key, word is too unsharp to make out.

Thanks so much.

Sure looks liike a Buick but not a 1911. Here's a 1918 Buick that looks a lot like it:

It would help if we could download it and read the lettering on the car.

Looks like Kaikoura Motor Company on the windshield. And maybe Christchurch Kaikoura Blenheim on the side.

If Christchurch, are we talking about New Zealand.

Yes, definitely New Zealand, as I can read N. Z. Government on the building behind the car. There is also what looks like the US State Department Seal on the building wall. Maybe a US embassy or consulate in that building?

I couldn't make out anything about the emblem on the front of the car.

Keep up old timer, she said it was taken in NZ.
I took the text on the windscreen as the dealer who sold it, much like today where most dealers sticker is on rest windows.
If it was new car franchise, they could reveal its make. If they were still around?
Like today, many motor cars all looked very similar. Definition is down to small features, logos, grilles etc.

Hi Lorima. Tracing this type of info intrigues me, so on the basis of the motor dealer on the w/screen, I've submitted a query with Kaikoura Auto centre in NZ to see if they are the same company today. I'll post anything I find, or PM you.
In genealogy I've found people all over the world by following up on leads, no matter how small. There's no problem in asking a question. It can be fruitful or rejected, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I took the liberty of a little pp to clean it up & email it to the guy to maybe shine some light on it.
The two guys at rear look like handling parcels or similar, maybe a delivery vehicle between Christchurch & Kaikoura, via Blenheim.
My experience of a trip to NZ years ago, reminds me that Blenheim is in the north of the South Island, Christchurch is about 1/3rd way down the East coast of South Island, & Kaikoura is a small coastal town in between.
I'd speculate that this vehicle is a mail delivery to others small communities between both towns.
Keeping in mind the period would be early 1900s, where mail would come by sea to Christchurch, & delivered by road via this medium.
Here in Australia, mail back then was delivered by such means, because air transport was not yet developed. New Zealand, no doubt, did much the same. Not long before the motor car was introduced to society, mail was delivered by animal power. Of course the Pony Express of early America, was probably he inspiration for much of the activities of that era. We never had the hazards of hostile Indians like yours.

I hope this bears fruit, watch this space.

Lorima, this vehicle was obviously used as a commercial activity of one kind or another. It states on the windscreen "Kaikoura Motor Company"
, while down the side it states "Christchurch Kaikoura Blenheim" In those days that would be a quite heavy journey as its about 5 hrs 58mins to cover the journey using todays roads. In fact at present the journey is over 8 hours following the Kaikoura Earthquake. There is a copy of this image for sale on Trademe, (Our Ebay equiv).

I can say that there appears to be a "Shield" of some kind on the front of the radiator so that may assist someone in identifying it.
