Another night of imaging wiped off the calendar by cloud... But at least I saw the Moon and the sunset wasn't all that bad!

Yup, might not be what you sought but a beautifull shot resulted just the same. (I really like the moon pic)

Well, in spite of the frustration, that moon shot is beautifully framed and composed.
And the Sunset is gorgeous!
I'm out of town, so my stuff is locked away at home right now.
More's the pity. At the BIL's home, the sky view is much better than expected.
The wife asked me if I wanted to bring my astro gear, but I declined. Turns out that the BIL is very interested in the night skies, but never able to persue it.
So next time, I'll bring up the rig and we'll play out back. Probably visually, but it is an easy shift from one to the other.
This has been one hell of a year for you....
