I started using B&H October 2016. I kept seeing things about their rewards program and even e-mailed them about it but never got any response. I spent a small fortune with them. When I had another large purchase for a present I was buying I called customer service and got it straightened out going forward but not for all my prior purchases. Felt they were a bit underhanded in avoiding my inquiries about the rewards program. However I have never had any problem with any equipment I have bought so have never returned anything for a credit. It's like any company, a bit of buyer beware !

And buyer call for understanding.
I've done business with B&H for many years. Never ever had any issue with B&H that couldn't be happily resolved with a quick phone call. Rather than beef, I'd suggest contacting them to resolve the issue. In my experience, B&H does their best to take care of ALL of their customers.
OK; "My total cost for the G3X $1,042.00. B&H's credit to me is $504.00."
Did you ask why? Would you mind sharing their answer with us?
There's always more to the story and we are seeing one side. Not disputing you, but ti would be better if both sides were represented on your post.

I purchased a new Canon G3X plus various accessories for it.
Within a week testing I decided I did not like it. Returned all of it for credit and
purchased a new OM10 ll Olymplus with a 12-35f2.8 lens and a 100-300 lens. Plus extra accessories.
I still want to purchase a couple more lenses, etc.
My total cost for the G3X $1,042.00. B&H's credit to me is $504.00.
I guess that is how they like to treat their small customers.

I sure am disappointed. Why is it that whenever someone claims to have been ripped off by B&H you get these posters who act as though that company is God and beyond reproach?

B&H has credibility while some half baked post does not. A post such as this is shameful.

1. Because the OP chose to publish a piece of fake news rather than work with the company to resolve the issue. Do you actually think B&H's return
policy is to regularly rip off customers by only refunding 50%?
2. Because the people who have done business with B&H for 5, 10 or 20 years choose to share their experiences as counterpoint to this irresponsible topic.
3. And btw, Jim Bob, I'm pretty sure none of the happy customers who commented here believe the company is
God, so please rest easy in that regard

It's as good as being trolled as far as I'm concerned.

I’m still waiting to hear what B&H said when the OP called them, which should have been done before posting here.
Anyone consider that the holiday weekend could be getting in the way of Ken checking in with UHH.
I agree that B & H is reputable.
I agree something is not right here. But it could be an error on the part of either party.
Many a UHH member has used the forum to vent their frustrations.
If piling on helps to digest your turkey dinner, so be it. It is not worth getting indigestion over.
It hasn't even been 24 hours.

He wasn't too busy to make the post....perhaps he should have held off. But that wouldn't have been as much fun!
Sorry you're experiencing indigestion over a goofy thread.
