I've been home this week due to the thanksgiving holiday so I've been out shooting more than normal. My camera of choice is the Olympus Trip 35 (some of you might recall.) It goes with me everywhere. It's a zone focusing, auto exposure, point and shoot. This trip was made in about 72 or 74, I can't remember.

The first image is of a house fire in my neighborhood, I was passing by just as the fire dept got there. I parked, took a couple of shots from a distance and left. You can see the flames through the bedroom window and the smoke coming out of several places.

The second is a shot from out of a tunnel in our local park. It was so danged cold you can see the steam coming off of the lights on the roof.

Both shot on Eastman Double-X film at 1/2 box speed and dev'd in D96 at - 10% time.
The house fire shot was printed on Adorama VC Glossy paper at 8 x 10 and scanned on my ancient scanner. The tunnel pic was printed on Ilford MGIV Pearl in 5 x 7 size and scanned the same way.
