Another year has left me wondering "Where did Autumn go and how did I miss it except for the leaf raking?" Made me think of this image I took some years back of myself contemplating the meaning of life at Bear Rocks on the Alleghany Front in West Virginia.

Nice shot, but you wouldn't catch me standing there.
Outstanding, glad it isn't me standing there.
Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting. Took this one with my first Nikon that had more than just a 10 second timer/delay. My wife was always sure that someday I wouldn't return and the last image in the camera would be of me going over a cliff because I couldn't stop in time. And, actually, this place isn't as scary as it looks. Getting past the snakes in the blueberry patches is trickier.
Thanks, pedro. It is a great location.
Very nice! Great colors and beautiful location.
grillmaster, you would love the location. In Dolly Sods Wilderness via a bone-jarring, miles-long dirt road, Bear Rocks really is the pot-of-gold at the end.
