A beautiful bird and a beautiful shot, Chuck. The sprinkles of light don't detract from the picture IMO, but I can tell you how to remove them if you'd like.

Chuck, you can also use the clone tool set at about 65% to get back a bit of detail in the light areas if you don't want to eliminate them completely.
