At Goose Pond in Southern Indiana
The wife and I make it down to Goose Pond at least a couple times a year. We try to get there during the migrations haven't made it this year. Good picture.
Still a lot of cranes around. They have a new visitor center on top of a hill overlooking the area. Worth a visit. It is located on 400S, clearly visible from Hwy 59.
Brave birds. We have them on property and you can walk up to them but if you get too close they will defend themselves with a good peck!
Last time we were there it was open, not much inside but was told the exhibits are still being gathered. The crane on my profile picture is from there.
When I was there yesterday, the big room did not have any exibits. But a fantastic view.
Very beautiful image and birds, Robert!
Thanks to all for the kind words. The Sandhill Cranes are beautiful birds.
